Can't locate bin/mozilla/login.pl in @INC (General)

I'm working with SQL-Ledger 3.0.8, the currently available version on Debian testing. The perl 5.26 update on 26th July disabled the file /etc/perl/sitecustomize.pl. This is I assume for security reasons.

Now I can no longer access my postgressql database using any web browser for the sql-ledger package. I just get the Internal Server Error - "The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request" Previous remedies included disabling the only line of command in the sitecustomize.pl file.

Any hints on what I can do to get around this?

Have you considered trying another distro ?
We use and like CentOS 7.
YMMV

I've been using Debian for many years and like everything about it - not least the democratic structure. So I will keep sticking to it and count on being able to resolve it.
