Latex error printing checks (General)

posted by jhaltd(R), 27.10.2016, 16:41

Has anyone ever had a Latex dump / error while printing checks? I'm getting the following error pretty regularily (but not all the time) when printing checks.

\documentclass[twoside]{scrartcl} \usepackage[frame]{xy} \usepackage{tabularx} \usepackage[absolute, overlay]{textpos} \usepackage[utf8]{inputenc} \setlength{\topmargin}{0cm} \setlength{\headheight}{0.0cm} \setlength{\headsep}{1cm} \setlength{\topskip}{0pt} \setlength{\oddsidemargin}{-.375in} \setlength{\evensidemargin}{1.0cm} \setlength{\textwidth}{19.2cm} \setlength{\textheight}{24.5cm} \setlength{\topmargin}{-.75in} % .125 4/20 \setlength{\footskip}{1cm} \setlength{\parindent}{0pt} \setlength{\TPHorizModule}{0.5in} \setlength{\TPVertModule}{\TPHorizModule} \textblockorigin{0mm}{0mm} \renewcommand{\baselinestretch}{1} \begin{document} \fontfamily{phv}\fontsize{9pt}{9pt}\selectfont \begin{minipage}[t][3in]{7.25in} Walker Zanger \hfill 10-26-2016 \hfill 22091 \vspace{0.25cm} \begin{tabularx}{\textwidth}{lXrr@{}} \textbf{Invoice No.} & \textbf{Invoice Date} & \textbf{Due} & \textbf{Applied} \\ 4622142 & 09-19-2016 \dotfill & 24.96 & 24.96 \\ 4621451 & 09-23-2016 \dotfill & 17.43 & 17.43 \\ 46182272 & 10-17-2016 \dotfill & 0.99 & 0.99 \\ 4624351 & 10-17-2016 \dotfill & 22.17 & 22.17 \\ 4626901 & 10-17-2016 \dotfill & 261.31 & 261.31 \\ & & & \textbf{\$326.86} \\ \end{tabularx} \end{minipage} \begin{minipage}[t][3.5in]{7.25in} \vspace{1.20in} \hfill 10-26-2016 \makebox[3cm]{\hfill} \vspace{0.25cm} Three Hundred Twenty Six and 86/100 Dollars \dotfill \textbf{\$326.86}\makebox[0in]{\hfill} \vspace{1cm} Walker Zanger 16719 Schoenborn St. North Hills CA 91343 \hfill \makebox[3cm]{\hfill} \end{minipage} \begin{minipage}[t][3in]{7.25in} \vspace{0.75in} Walker Zanger \hfill 10-26-2016 \hfill 22091 \vspace{0.25cm} \begin{tabularx}{\textwidth}{lXrr@{}} \textbf{Invoice No.} & \textbf{Invoice Date} & \textbf{Due} & \textbf{Applied} \\ 4622142 & 09-19-2016 \dotfill & 24.96 & 24.96 \\ 4621451 & 09-23-2016 \dotfill & 17.43 & 17.43 \\ 46182272 & 10-17-2016 \dotfill & 0.99 & 0.99 \\ 4624351 & 10-17-2016 \dotfill & 22.17 & 22.17 \\ 4626901 & 10-17-2016 \dotfill & 261.31 & 261.31 \\ & & & \textbf{\$326.86} \\ \end{tabularx} \end{minipage} \end{document}

Dieter told me to change \usepackage[latin]{inputenc} to \usepackage[utf8]{inputenc}, but I'm still getting the error.

Running SQL-Ledger 3.2.1 on Ubuntu 12.04.05 (64) and I'm using Chrome 47.0.2526.106 (64). Thanks,

Dunc
