import general ledger (General)

posted by DavidJ(R), 16.08.2016, 07:51

I manually enter many transactions from my bank statement. A simple import
would be easier even if I must modify the entry in the chart of accounts.

Not sure why you'd do that in SQL-Ledger.
How do you keep track of Sales, Purchases, Receivables, Payables from a bank statement ?
How does the statement help you decide which products/services were sold to which customer ?
How did a customer know how much to pay unless you sent a Sales Invoice ?
IMHO if you just wanna balance your checking account, then SQL-Ledger is prolly not the right tool.
SQL-L is more of an "enterprise" accounting system.
