Upgrading from 2.2.6 (General)

posted by Dieter Simader(R), 04.01.2016, 17:10

Questions about upgrading. I see I don't need to upgrade incrementally. I
have an old 2.2.6 install and need to move it from a dedicated server to
VPS. Can I install 2.2.6 on CentOS 6.7, copy over the client data files,
and THEN upgrade to the latest version of SQL-Ledger? When I do the fresh
install of 2.2.6 on the new VPS, what folders/files do I copy over from the
old server?

Thanks in advance for your help.

untar the new version of SQL-Ledger over top

Read the UPGRADE file before you log in.

data files will be upgraded when you log in.
